Hi, I am Alpana.
A Photographer, Brand Strategist, and Chai Lover.
The truth is, unless you’re intimidated by cooking Indian food or bored with your meals, you probably shouldn’t.
But if you’re tired of the same food and want to know how I spent countless hours adapting my mother’s recipes into quick, healthy meals to stop relying on Uber Eats, keep reading.
When that little girl you see in the photo left for America with two suitcases and a thousand dollars, my mother gave me her pressure cooker and a handwritten recipe book. Those recipes became my survival guide in a new country.
My work has been commissioned by the New York Times, Apple, and Instagram, but what fuels me is helping women be seen through powerful portraits and authentic brand images.
